IGM Omnicat 550 is a novel liquid iodonium salt cationic UV photoinitiator in the Omnicat series, designed for cationic curing of epoxy, oxetane and vinyl ether formulations. Its chemical composition is 10-biphenyl-4-yl-2-isopropyl-9-oxo-9H-thioxanthenium hexafluorophosphate, featuring benzene-free, low odor and low viscosity. With high solvent resistance, excellent adhesion and low shrinkage after polymerization, it is suitable for special harsh scenarios such as can coatings and coil coatings, an efficient and environmentally friendly core additive for cationic curing.
