Oxidized polyethylene wax, also known as OPE wax, is an excellent new type of polar wax. It is produced by oxidizing polyethylene wax through a special oxidation process. The microemulsion of oxidized polyethylene wax can be used in the leather industry, papermaking industry, rubber industry, water-based coatings, textile industry and other fields.
Due to the certain amount of carbonyl and hydroxyl groups in the molecular chain of oxidized polyethylene wax, its compatibility with fillers, pigments and polar resins is significantly improved. It has better wettability and dispersibility than polyethylene wax in polar systems, and also has coupling properties.
• It has a relatively high softening point. In the PVC processing environment, it can maintain a limited working viscosity, improve the extrusion speed and the surface brightness of products.
• Polyethylene wax and high-density oxidized polyethylene wax used as lubricants have very favorable metal release properties.
• Improve the dispersibility between PVC resin and other additives, so that the material is more uniformly dispersed and the production is more stable.
• It is a synthetic process product, free of metal ions, reducing the generation of scale.
• Reduce the frictional heat generated during PVC processing and improve the dynamic thermal stability of PVC processing.
• Suitable polyethylene wax products are also very good foaming nucleating agents, which can make the foam cells more uniform.
In the fields of PVC rigid sheets, foamed sheets (SPC/WPC) floor substrates, wood-plastic and other foamed products, polyethylene wax and oxidized polyethylene wax used as lubricants play an irreplaceable role; especially oxidized polyethylene wax products, while taking into account plasticization, have excellent demolding effects.
• ERICW wax is produced by the water bath oxidation process, with a narrow molecular weight distribution. Combined with linear structure and low-end chain branching, it provides a high level of crystallinity; its specific molecular structure has better compatibility with PVC resin.
• Provide excellent metal release effect during the processing of PVC transparent products, extend the mold cleaning cycle, reduce the occurrence of defective products, thereby saving production costs.
• The EW-316 product is mainly used in printing-grade label films, with better transparency and brightness, long continuous operation time, and improved screen changing cycle.
• Due to its special production process, it has stronger metal release performance, prevents die deposition, and solves the problem of rubber paste caused by insufficient external lubricants.
• The powder internal lubricant product EW-60 is easier to weigh and batching than traditional oils, improving the process flow; at the same time, it has excellent compatibility and dispersibility, can meet high transparency requirements, and can provide excellent high fluidity and reduced PVC molecular friction.
• ERICW series products are widely used in PVC calendered soft films, PVC semi-rigid films, calendered sheets and other fields. Their extremely high internal lubrication effect can significantly promote plasticization, shorten the plasticization time, improve the fluidity of materials, and prevent the appearance of water marks and pinholes on the film surface.
• ERICW series products have certain polar groups, and their specific molecular structure has excellent compatibility with PVC resin. Among them, the EW-316 product has excellent lubricating performance, provides more effective fluidity with less addition amount, and has extremely low precipitation risk, which is especially suitable for transparent products, adhesive-coated and ink-printed products.
• The excellent demolding effect of ERICW series products can solve the problem of reduced production efficiency caused by adhesion between films due to high temperature in summer and reduce the occurrence of defective products.
