DOWSIL Z-6020 (N-β-aminoethyl-γ-aminopropyltrimethoxysilane) is a dual-amino functional silane coupling agent that enhances adhesion between organic resins (epoxy, polyurethane) and inorganic substrates (glass, metals). Its high purity (85% active) and reactive groups improve wet/dry strength (>50% increase) and chemical resistance in composites. Complies with REACH/RoHS, ideal for FRP, adhesives, and coatings with 25kg/450lb packaging options
Dual Reactivity - Amino groups bond with resins; methoxy links to fillers/glass fibers for stress transfer
Performance Boost - Enhances wet-state flexural strength (100% increase in polyester composites) and electrical properties
Process Adaptability - Self-emulsifying in water (pH 3.0–4.5) or soluble in alcohols (n-butanol) for flexible application
Durability - Improves salt-spray resistance (>1,000 hours) and thermal stability (up to 263°C)
RP Composites - Glass fiber sizing for automotive/construction (50% strength increase)
Adhesives/Sealants - Enhances epoxy/polyurethane bonding to metals (Al, steel) and glass
Thermoplastics - Mineral-filled nylon/PBT with improved mechanical properties
Coatings - Waterborne acrylics with superior adhesion
