SEPTON™ 8004 is a SEBS styrenic thermoplastic elastomer of Kuraray’s 8000 series with 30% styrene content. It features appropriate tensile strength, good processability, excellent heat/weather/chemical resistance and electrical insulation, medium solution viscosity, good oil absorption and retention, ideal for adhesives, sealants, polymer modification, personal care products and general - purpose TPE compounds.

Good compatibility with polyolefin and other polymers, capable of improving the toughness and flexibility of modified materials.
Superior electrical insulation, applicable to the insulation layer of wires and cables and electronic component potting.
Adhesives and sealants: Used in pressure - sensitive adhesives, hot - melt adhesives and construction sealants with good bonding and sealing effects.
Polymer modification: Acts as a toughening modifier for PP/PE and other resins to improve impact resistance and flexibility.
Personal care products: Applied in the preparation of hair styling products, skin care products and other formulations due to low toxicity and good compatibility.
General - purpose TPE compounds: Suitable for the production of soft touch parts, gaskets and other daily and industrial parts.
Electrical and electronic products: Used for the insulation protection of wires and cables and the potting of electronic components relying on good electrical insulation and heat resistance.
