IGM Omnirad EDB is a high-efficiency tertiary amine synergist for photoinitiators in the Omnirad series, designed for UV free radical curing systems. Its core component is Ethyl 4-(dimethylamino)benzoate. When used with Type II photoinitiators, it can synergize efficiently, promote free radical generation, improve initiation efficiency, and quickly drive the polymerization of acrylates and other unsaturated oligomers. With strong compatibility and easy addition, it is a core auxiliary additive to improve performance and optimize construction efficiency in UV curing systems, also usable for synthesizing high-efficiency photosensitive materials and UV radiation protection scenarios.
Significant synergistic effect - Combined with Type II photoinitiators, it greatly increases the amount of free radicals, accelerates curing speed and improves curing degree
Efficient auxiliary initiation - Makes up for the insufficient activity of single photoinitiators, reduces the impact of oxygen inhibition, and optimizes surface curing effect
Multi-system compatibility - Suitable for solvent-based and water-based UV systems, compatible with various acrylate oligomers, strong versatility
Easy liquid control - Colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid, easy to dissolve and add, accurate measurement and convenient processing
Low odor and low volatility - Mild odor, low volatility, stable performance during storage and construction, excellent batch consistency
UV ink field - Offset, screen, flexo inks, combined with Type II initiators to improve curing efficiency and ensure printing precision
UV coating field - Wood, plastic, metal UV coatings, optimize curing effect and enhance film adhesion and weather resistance
Photosensitive material field - Synthesize high-efficiency photosensitive materials, suitable for photosensitive systems in photoelectric conversion devices
Varnish field - Overprint varnishes, wood varnishes, improve curing speed and ensure coating gloss and transparency
Universal UV system - Various UV free radical curing systems, assist in improving initiation performance and reducing formula cost
