Dow ENGAGE™ 8200 is a granular ethylene-octene copolymer polyolefin elastomer with excellent flow properties. Blended with PP and PE, it significantly enhances the impact resistance of substrates. It is suitable for high-filler loading systems, and after curing, it exhibits outstanding thermal aging resistance, weather resistance and low compression set, serving as an efficient modification raw material in the general thermoplastic elastomer field.
Excellent flow properties with melt flow rate suitable for high-efficiency processing scenarios, simplifying extrusion, injection molding and other molding operations.
Significant toughening effect, greatly improving the impact resistance of composite materials when blended with PP and PE, and solving the problem of low-temperature embrittlement.
High filler loading capacity, compatible with high-proportion filler addition, reducing product costs while ensuring the stability of mechanical properties.
Excellent electrical properties, with outstanding insulation and corona resistance after curing, meeting the production requirements of electrical products.
Good weather and thermal aging resistance, maintaining excellent dimensional stability and mechanical properties even after long-term exposure to outdoor or high-temperature environments.
General TPE: Manufacture of home appliance soft grips, door/window seals and children’s toys.
PP/PE impact modification: Improve impact resistance of appliance housings, auto bumpers and turnover boxes.
Wire & cable: Produce insulation and sheathing for medium-low voltage cables.
High-fill composites: Act as masterbatch carrier for high-proportion filler loading to cut costs.
Footwear: Make sneaker soles and insoles for better resilience and wear resistance.
Auto interiors: Produce dashboard cushions and door panel seals.
