TEGO Foamex 845 is a German-origin defoamer, formulated as a polyether-silicone/nanosilica composite. Engineered with advanced thermo-mechanical properties to secure a competitive edge, it appears as a milky homogeneous liquid with a viscosity of 400-1,200 mPa·s. It maintains stable activity under pH 2-12 and temperatures ≤85°C, achieving 88% foam suppression at a dosage of 0.02%-0.1%. Certified by REACH, ISO 9001, and GB 30981-2020, it enhances weather resistance (QUV 2,000h ΔE≤0.5) and print dot clarity (dot gain ≤0.8%) in high-solids industrial coatings and UV inks.
Process Resistance: Maintains stability in ≤2 μm bead milling and ≤15 μm triple-roll grinding, ensuring consistent performance across rigorous processing equipment.
Nano Defoaming: Equipped with 0.6 μm hybrid particles that eliminate bubbles in 4 seconds (per ASTM D892-VI standards), delivering efficient foam control for diverse applications.
Non-Migrating: Passes EN 71-3 toy safety standards for surface residue, ensuring safety in applications with potential exposure to toys or sensitive substrates.
Automotive OEM Paints: Achieves a DOI (Distinctness of Image) ≥95 in ≥100 μm 3C1B (three-coat one-bake) processes, ensuring high-quality finishes for original equipment manufacturing.
Food-Grade Inks: Controls trailing (ΔE≤0.3) on PET/foil substrates at speeds ≥600 m/min, maintaining print consistency in food contact packaging.
Wind Blade Gelcoats: Limits porosity to ≤0.02% in vinyl ester infusion, enhancing the structural integrity and durability of wind turbine blade coatings.
