SEPTON™ 2063 is a SEPS styrenic thermoplastic elastomer of Kuraray’s 2000 series with 13% styrene content and non-crystallizing structure. It features ultra-low hardness, excellent low-temperature flexibility and tensile performance, good melt flowability, and superior heat & weather resistance, ideal for ultra-soft material formulation and flexible product processing.
Ultra-low styrene content (13%) with non-crystallizing SEPS structure, delivering exceptional low-temperature flexibility and high tensile elongation.
Low hardness (Type A 36) brings super soft touch, meeting the demand for ultra-flexible materials in various high-end applications.
Good melt flowability and processability, suitable for extrusion, injection molding and calendering of soft flexible products.
Excellent heat, weather and chemical resistance, no plasticizer added, serving as an environmentally friendly alternative to soft PVC.
Good compatibility with polyolefins, process oil and tackifying resins, applicable for adhesive formulation and polymer modification.
Ultra-soft personal care products: Used in beauty sponges, soft cosmetic parts and skin care gel formulations for super soft texture.
Medical flexible supplies: Applied in disposable soft catheters, medical cushioning materials and wound dressing accessories for low-temperature flexibility.
Automotive ultra-soft parts: Utilized for interior soft gaskets, door seal strips and wire cable fillers for excellent elasticity and cold resistance.
Flexible films and sheets: Processed into ultra-soft transparent films for baby products, food packaging and protective covers.
Adhesive formulations: Compounded with tackifying resins to make ultra-soft adhesives for bonding non-woven fabrics, foam and soft plastic materials.
