IGM Omnirad 754 Photoinitiator

IGM Omnirad 754 is a high-efficiency low-yellowing liquid UV photoinitiator in the Omnirad series, formerly BASF IRG 754, light yellow liquid. It efficiently initiates UV polymerization of unsaturated prepolymers and acrylate monomers, balancing low residual odor, low curing exotherm and excellent curing efficiency, compatible with most organic solvents and UV systems, suitable for clear varnishes.

Features Of IGM Omnirad 754 Photoinitiator

  1. Efficient liquid initiation - Liquid easy to add and mix, rapidly initiates polymerization under UV, excellent curing efficiency

  2. Low yellowing and weatherability - Minimal yellowing after curing, anti-yellowing performance can be further improved with light stabilizers

  3. Low odor and low exotherm - Low residual odor and less curing exotherm, enhancing construction safety and user experience

  4. Broad system compatibility - Suitable for most organic solvents and acrylate systems, strong versatility

  5. Excellent compounding performance - Can be compounded with other photoinitiators to optimize through-cure and surface curing effects

Typical Applications Of IGM Omnirad 754 Photoinitiator

  1. Wood clear varnish - UV transparent coating for wood surfaces, ensuring long-lasting transparency and improving texture

  2. Plastic clear coating - Clear varnish for plastic substrates, suitable for various plastics, scratch-resistant and non-yellowing

  3. Transparent printing ink - Low odor and low yellowing, suitable for food packaging-related transparent ink printing

  4. UV curing adhesive - Low exotherm and low odor, suitable for precision bonding scenarios with excellent bonding strength

  5. Optical coating - Suitable for surface coating of optical components, low yellowing without affecting optical performance
