DuPont Elvaloy AC 1125 Impact modifier

DuPont Elvaloy®AC 1125 is a granular EMA resin with 25% methyl acrylate content. Compatible with PE processing equipment, it offers better thermal stability than EVA, integrating toughening, compatibilizing and bonding functions, with a typical addition level of 3%-5%.

  1. Excellent thermal stability, no corrosive degradation products during processing, thermal decomposition temperature up to 330℃.

  2. Broad compatibility, enabling efficient blending with PE, PP, PC, PA, PBT and other resins.

  3. Outstanding filling capacity, supporting up to 70% loading of halogen-free flame retardants and other fillers.

  4. Superior low-temperature toughness, maintaining good flexibility at -40℃ without plasticizer migration.

  5. Strong adhesion, significantly enhancing the bonding force of inks and coatings on polyolefin substrates.

  1. Packaging: Used in adhesive layers of multi-layer co-extruded films, suitable for easy-peel food packaging like yogurt cup lids and instant noodle bowl lids.

  2. Polymer modification: Acts as a compatibilizer and toughener for PC/ABS, PBT/PET alloys, effectively improving product impact resistance.

  3. Flame-retardant materials: High-loading halogen-free flame retardants for manufacturing low-smoke halogen-free cable compounds and heat-shrinkable sleeves.

  4. Medical supplies: Blown into flexible films for disposable medical sterile covers and low-melting point packaging bags.

  5. PVC modification: Serves as a non-migratory plasticizer to enhance the flexibility and durability of roof geomembranes and waterproof rolls.
