Clariant Emulsogen™ MTP 070 is a label-free nonionic emulsifier (HLB 11) for metalworking fluids, combining calcium soap dispersion with low-foaming performance. Its fatty alcohol alkoxylate structure enables stable emulsions in mineral/vegetable oils while reducing foam formation under high-pressure conditions. Compatible with anionic systems, it enhances lubricity without APEO, boron, or secondary amines. Ideal for semi-synthetic and milky-type fluids, it supports sustainable formulations with WGK 1 classification and biodegradability
Label-Free Safety: No hazardous labels required, reducing safety warning costs during use and meeting health and environmental standards.
Low-Foam Advantage: Reduces foam in circulating metalworking fluids, avoiding abnormal liquid levels or affected processing accuracy caused by foam overflow.
Strong Adaptability: HLB 12 is compatible with various metalworking fluid formulas, ensuring full emulsification of oil and water phases without delamination.
High-Temperature Stability: Cloud point up to 75℃, maintaining stable emulsification system without failure in high-temperature metal cutting (e.g., high-speed milling).
Metalworking Fluid Field: Used for emulsification of turning and drilling fluids for aluminum alloy, stainless steel, etc., improving the lubrication and cooling effect of fluids on metal surfaces and reducing workpiece scratches.
Cutting Fluid Field: Compatible with cutting fluids for high-speed steel and cemented carbide tools, extending the cutting fluid replacement cycle through stable emulsification, indirectly prolonging tool life.
Industrial Cleaning Field: Added to degreasing cleaning fluids for metal parts to assist in emulsifying oil stains, improving cleaning efficiency, especially for moderate oil stain cleaning of precision parts.
