IGM Omnirad 754 is a low-yellowing liquid alpha-hydroxy ketone Type I free radical UV photoinitiator in the Omnirad series (IGM Resins), designed for UV radiation curing systems. Its core component is a blend of oxy-phenyl-acetic acid 2-[2-oxo-2-phenyl-acetoxy-ethoxy]-ethyl ester and oxy-phenyl-acetic acid 2-[2-hydroxy-ethoxy]-ethyl ester. It can efficiently initiate the photopolymerization of unsaturated prepolymers such as acrylates with mono and multifunctional vinyl monomers
High-efficiency Type I initiation - Alpha-hydroxy ketone structure, high initiation efficiency, fast curing speed, uniform surface and deep curing
Excellent low-yellowing - No obvious yellowing after curing, high transmittance, suitable for transparent and light-colored systems with high appearance requirements
Low odor and low emission - Low inherent odor, low residual odor and emission after curing, suitable for indoor sensitive construction scenarios
Easy liquid processing - Pale yellow liquid, good fluidity, easy to add and measure, suitable for water-based and solvent-based UV systems
Multi-system compatibility - Soluble in various organic solvents and acrylate monomers, strong versatility, usable alone or in combinatio
UV varnish field - Transparent coatings for wood floors and PVC floors, topcoats for wooden furniture, high gloss and no yellowing
Plastic coating field - UV coatings for plastic surfaces such as optical discs and mobile phones, good fit, with both decorativeness and wear resistance
Water-based UV field - Water-based UV coatings and varnishes, good dispersibility, stable curing performance and outstanding environmental protection
Transparent coating field - Various transparent UV curing coatings, maintaining high light transmittance, not easy to lose light after long-term use
Light-colored system field - Varnishing of white plastic substrates, light-colored UV coatings, no impact on base color and uniform color
