DOWSIL SM5572F is a food-grade silicone-silica composite defoamer designed for high-protein and viscous food systems. It appears as a white uniform liquid (viscosity 600-1,200 mPa·s), keeping stable activity at pH 3-12 and ≤85°C. With dynamic surface tension down to 23 dyn/cm, it removes micron-scale foam in 3 minutes (suppression for over 8 hours). Approved by FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and GB 9685-2016, it cuts mineral oil defoamer use by 25% in dairy fermentation and beverage filling.
