AFFINITY™ EG 8100G is an ethylene-octene copolymer polyolefin plastomer (POP) from Dow, made via INSITE™ Technology. It offers high flexibility, elastic recovery, and clarity, usable in monolayer films or blended with other polyolefins to enhance clarity, sealability, and toughness, while meeting global food contact safety standards.

Breathable films: For fruit/vegetable preservation bags and medical breathable dressings, maintaining freshness and skin dryness via high gas transmission rates
Polyolefin blending modification: Blended with PP/PE to improve impact resistance and flexibility of films and containers for industrial packaging and durable goods
Hygiene products: As a breathable backsheet in diapers and sanitary napkins, balancing elasticity, breathability, and reliable heat sealing
Composite flexible packaging: Coextruded with PET, PA, etc., to optimize seal strength and puncture resistance of composite films
