Clariant Emulsogen LCN 070 is a fatty alcohol ethoxylate-based nonionic emulsifier (7 EO moles) for emulsion polymerization. It stabilizes acrylate, styrene-acrylate, and vinyl acetate dispersions via reduced surface tension and enhanced colloidal stability. Compatible with complex formulations, it is APEO/VOC-free, readily biodegradable, and FDA-approved for industrial coatings and adhesives
Colloidal Stabilization - Maintains low viscosity in polymer emulsions under high shear, preventing phase separation
Electrolyte Resistance - Stable in hard water and high-ionic-strength environments (pH 6–8)
Low-Foam Performance - Minimizes foam interference in high-speed coating applications
Thermal Resilience - Withstands temperatures up to 148°C without degradation
EcoTain® Certified - 100% active, biodegradable (OECD 301 E), and solvent-free
Architectural Coatings - Styrene-acrylate dispersions for exterior paints with freeze-thaw stability
Adhesive Formulations - Vinyl acetate-based emulsions for paper laminates and wood glues
Textile Binders - Acrylate dispersions for fabric coating and non-woven bonding
Industrial Cleaners - Low-foam wetting agents for metal degreasing (1–5 g/L)
Pigment Dispersions - Stabilizer for TiO₂ and filler slurries in waterborne coatings
