IGM Omnirad 2959 is a high-efficiency non-yellowing alpha-hydroxy ketone Type I free radical UV photoinitiator in the Omnirad series, designed for UV radiation curing systems. Its core component is 1-[4-(2-hydroxyethoxy)-phenyl]-2-hydroxy-2-methyl-1-propan-1-one. It can efficiently decompose to generate free radicals under UV light, quickly initiating the photopolymerization of unsaturated monomers and prepolymers.
