DOW XIAMETER ACP-1400 is a 100% active silicone defoamer designed for harsh pH and solvent settings. It appears as a translucent gray liquid (viscosity 2,500 cSt) and retains stable performance at pH 1-13 and ≤100°C. With dynamic surface tension as low as 24 dyn/cm, it clears micron-scale foam in 3 minutes (and suppresses foam for over 6 hours). Certified to FDA 21 CFR 175.300, it lowers mineral oil defoamer usage by 30% in cutting fluids and solvent processing systems.
