TEGO Foamex 3062 is an industrial-grade defoamer, formulated as a polyether-silicone/nanosilica composite. Engineered with advanced thermo-mechanical properties to secure a competitive edge, it appears as a pale yellow homogeneous liquid with a viscosity of 800-1,500 mPa·s. It maintains stable activity under pH 3-12 and temperatures ≤80°C, achieving 72% foam suppression at a dosage of 0.03%-0.1%. Certified by REACH, ISO 9001, and GB 18582-2020, it enhances pigment dispersion (Hegman ≤5 μm) and scrub resistance (10,000 cycles intact) in architectural coatings and gravure inks.
Grinding-Stage Penetration: Equipped with 0.5 μm silicone nanoparticles that eliminate milling-stage bubbles (per ASTM D892-V standards), ensuring foam control during the critical grinding process.
Polarity Universality: Compatible with acrylics (Tg 0-50°C), polyurethanes (40-80% solids), and nitrocellulose (NC) systems, adapting to a range of formulation polarities.
Zero Grinding Interference: Maintains a ≤15° contact angle during dispersion at ≥2,500 rpm, avoiding disruption to grinding efficiency.
High PVC Coatings: Reduces drying time by 20% in systems with 60-75% PVC (pigment volume concentration), enhancing efficiency in architectural coating production.
Gravure Inks: Controls dot gain (ΔE≤0.2) on BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) substrates at speeds ≥500 m/min, ensuring high-quality, consistent prints.
