DSM Neocryl XK-85 is an anionic waterborne acrylic copolymer emulsion in the Neocryl XK series, designed for high-gloss, heat and humidity resistant protective coatings on wood and metal. It is a milky-white liquid with 40% solid content, pH 9.3, viscosity 150 mPa.s (25°C) and minimum film-forming temperature 19°C. It has excellent transparency, high hardness, good high-gloss retention, heat and humidity resistance, corrosion resistance, acid fog resistance, strong wetting adhesion to aluminum and steel
