BYK-3550 is a high-quality wetting and leveling agent under BYK brand, formulated as a silicone-modified polyacrylate solution, specially developed for solvent-borne coating systems. It can strongly reduce coating surface tension, has excellent substrate wetting and leveling performance, can effectively prevent crater defects, adapts to both polar and non-polar systems
Strong leveling and defect inhibition - Optimizes film leveling, forms long-wave effect, effectively prevents craters and fish eyes defects
Excellent defoaming and deaerating - Has both deaerating and defoaming effects, completely eliminates bubbles inside and on the film surface
Low tension without affecting recoat - Only slightly reduces surface tension, does not damage recoatability and interlayer adhesion
Outstanding high-temperature stability - Excellent thermal stability, can withstand temperatures up to 240℃, suitable for baking processes
