Exxelor PE 1040 is a maleic anhydride-functionalized high-density polyethylene made via reactive extrusion. It serves as a compatibilizer for HDPE fillers, boosting mechanical properties of HDPE composites with natural or mineral fillers. It also works as a tie layer in HDPE-based multilayer storage systems and helps compatibilize HDPE with polyamides.
