BYK-UV3500 is a polyether-modified polysiloxane with acrylate functionality Wetting Dispersans Agents, designed for radiation-curable coatings, inks, and adhesives. It significantly reduces surface tension to enhance substrate wetting and flow properties while preventing cratering. Its reactive groups enable covalent bonding with UV matrices, ensuring non-migrating performance and durable surface effects
Reactive Technology - Acrylate groups enable permanent fixation via crosslinking with UV-curable systems
Surface Optimization - Provides excellent substrate wetting (even on plastics/coated papers) and anti-cratering
Dual Functionality - Combines flow promotion with lasting slip and tape-release properties
Process Flexibility - Addable at any production stage, including post-blending
Optical Clarity - Maintains transparency without haze in clear coats
Printing Inks - Flexographic/gravure inks for packaging films requiring low COF (0.2-1% dosage)
Wood Coatings - UV-cured matte topcoats with consistent gloss control
Industrial Coatings - Abrasion-resistant finishes for metal/plastic components
Overprint Varnishes - High-gloss UV coatings with anti-fingerprint effects
Adhesives - Radiation-curable formulations needing improved wetting (0.1-0.5% dosage)
