Exxelor™ PO 1020 is a maleic anhydride-functionalized polypropylene made via reactive extrusion. It elevates PP matrix polarity, strengthening bonds with amino-silane-treated glass fibers. Suitable for glass-filled PP composites, PP/polyamide alloys, and enhancing PP-metal adhesion.
Improves impact resistance (notched/unnotched Izod, Charpy) of glass-filled PP, increasing toughness.
Enhances tensile and flexural strength in glass-filled PP composites.
Serves as a compatibilizer for PP/polyamide alloys, improving phase compatibility.
Aids in bonding PP with amino-silane-treated glass fibers, optimizing filler dispersion.
Used in glass-filled PP composites to enhance mechanical properties for automotive and industrial parts.
Applied as a compatibilizer in PP/polyamide alloys to boost alloy stability.
Utilized to strengthen PP-metal adhesion in hybrid materials or coated products.
