BYK DISPERBYK-108 is a Wetting Dispersans Agents-free variant of DISPERBYK-107, designed for solvent-based high-solid and aromatic-free architectural coatings. Its hydroxyl-functional carboxylate structure with pigment-affinic groups enables steric stabilization of TiO₂, extenders, and organic pigments. Ideal for industrial coatings, leather finishes, and printing inks (flexo/gravure/screen), it enhances pigment compatibility in resin-free or resin-containing systems
Dual Stabilization - Combines steric hindrance and electrostatic effects for uniform pigment dispersion
Process Efficiency - Reduces dispersion time by 30-50% and lowers millbase viscosity
Optical Enhancement - Improves gloss (up to 20% increase) and transparency in UV inks
Food Safety - Compliant with FDA/EU standards for packaging inks
Universal Compatibility - Works with TiO₂ (5-6%), carbon black (70-140%), and organic pigments (30-90%)
UV Flexographic Inks - High-gloss packaging films with stable color consistency
Industrial Coatings - Radiation-curable can/coil coatings requiring fast curing
Wood Finishes - UV-curable furniture coatings with improved pigment wetting
Offset Printing - Matte/semi-gloss varnishes for label protection
Adhesives - Solvent-free UV adhesives with controlled rheology
