LG Chem LC168 is a low-density and low-hardness ethylene-octene copolymer POE, with ultra-low temperature impact resistance (Tg -58℃), high flexibility, excellent filler compatibility and wide processing adaptability. It can effectively improve the low-temperature impact resistance and flexibility of polyolefin substrates, suitable for multi-scenario applications with lightweight and high elasticity requirements.
Excellent ultra-low temperature impact resistance: Tg as low as -58℃, outstanding toughness in low-temperature environment, significantly improving the normal/low temperature impact strength of composite materials and reducing the risk of cracking
High toughness, elasticity and low hardness: Shore A46 low-hardness characteristic, elongation at break >500%, excellent flexibility and elasticity, suitable for products requiring high flexibility
Good filler acceptability: Well compatible with various fillers, flexible formula adjustment, meeting the filler addition requirements of different modification processes
Low density and lightweight: Density only 0.862g/cm³, effectively reducing product weight and conforming to the trend of lightweight design
Good processability: MFR 1.2g/10min, Mooney Viscosity 20MU, fluidity suitable for injection molding, extrusion and other processes with high molding efficiency
Automotive Field: Modification of interior parts (instrument panels, door panels, armrests) and exterior parts (bumpers, fenders), improving the low-temperature impact resistance and flexibility of components and ensuring service durability
Wires & Cables: Cable insulation material, providing excellent electrical insulation performance and low-temperature flexibility, suitable for wiring requirements in different environments
Shoe Sole Materials: Manufacturing high-elastic and high-wear resistance shoe soles, low hardness improves wearing comfort, and the combination of elasticity and toughness extends the service life of shoes
Polymer Modification: Impact modifier for polyolefins such as PP and PE, effectively improving the impact performance of substrates and expanding the application scenarios of substrates
