Features Of IGM Omnirad BDK Photoinitiator

  1. Highly efficient benzophenone-type photoinitiator with excellent UV-A sensitivity (320–390 nm).

  2. Low yellowing tendency, supporting high clarity and color stability in cured films.

  3. Good solubility in common acrylate monomers and oligomers, enabling uniform formulation dispersion.

  4. Enables surface cure under ambient oxygen conditions without requiring inert atmosphere.

  5. Compatible with both free-radical and hybrid (free-radical/cationic) UV-curing systems.

Typical Applications Of IGM Omnirad BDK Photoinitiator

  1. UV-curable printing inks for flexible packaging and label applications.

  2. Overprint varnishes and protective coatings for paper, board, and plastic substrates.

  3. Wood and plastic coatings requiring fast line speed and low-energy curing.

  4. Adhesives and laminating systems for food-contact and industrial bonding.

  5. Electronics encapsulants and conformal coatings requiring low migration and high reliability.
