Features Of IGM Omnirad 379 EG Photoinitiator

  1. High reactivity under UV-A and visible light (365–405 nm), enabling efficient curing with LED sources.

  2. Low yellowing tendency, delivering excellent clarity and color stability in final cured films.

  3. Good solubility in common acrylate monomers and oligomers, ensuring homogeneous formulation blending.

  4. Reduced migration potential due to its higher molecular weight and non-volatile nature.

  5. Compatible with both free radical and hybrid (radical/cationic) photopolymerization systems.

Typical Applications Of IGM Omnirad 379 EG Photoinitiator

  1. UV-curable inkjet inks for packaging and decorative printing.

  2. Clear and pigmented coatings for wood, plastic, and metal substrates.

  3. Optical adhesives and encapsulants requiring low volatility and high transparency.

  4. 3D printing resins (SLA/DLP) where low odor and high resolution are critical.

  5. Flexible film laminating adhesives used in food packaging compliant systems.
