Wacker ELASTOSIL® RT 625 is a two-component, addition-cure liquid silicone rubber offering excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability up to 180°C, and outstanding transparency. Ideal for medical devices, baby products, and precision molds, it cures rapidly at room or elevated temperatures with low shrinkage and superb biocompatibility per ISO 10993.

Features Of Wacker ELASTOSIL RT 625 Silicone Rubber

  1. High tear strength and excellent elongation for demanding dynamic sealing applications.

  2. Fast room-temperature vulcanization (RTV) with low exotherm, enabling efficient processing without ovens.

  3. Outstanding resistance to weathering, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures (–60 °C to +180 °C).

  4. Good adhesion to common substrates including metals, plastics, and glass without primer.

  5. Low compression set and long-term elasticity retention under continuous stress.
