Features Of PhireGuard DF-49 Flame Retardant

  1. Halogen-free formulation ensures low smoke density and minimal toxic gas emission during combustion.

  2. Excellent thermal stability, maintaining performance up to 300 °C without significant decomposition.

  3. High phosphorus content enables efficient char formation and condensed-phase flame inhibition.

  4. Good compatibility with polyolefins, engineering thermoplastics, and elastomeric compounds.

  5. UL 94 V-0 rated at 1.6 mm thickness in optimized polymer blends (e.g., PP + 20 wt% loading).

Typical Applications Of PhireGuard DF-49 Flame Retardant

  1. Wire and cable insulation for low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) communication and power cables.

  2. Flame-retardant polypropylene (PP) used in automotive interior components.

  3. Electrical enclosures and housings for consumer electronics and industrial control panels.

  4. Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) formulations for flexible fire-safe seals and gaskets.
