    In 2025, the coatings industry has entered a critical node for high-quality development. As a Vice Chairman Unit, ERICW actively engaged in the industry's development trend, deeply participating in a series of important meetings hosted by the Coatings Association to discuss development strategies with industry peers.


    At the 2025 Coatings Association meeting with the core theme of "Collaborative Innovation, Digital-Intelligent Future", participants conducted an in-depth analysis of the current opportunities and challenges in the coatings industry. The meeting particularly focused on discussing the transformation and upgrading paths for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), aiming to help them break through development bottlenecks and achieve sustainable growth. Meanwhile, it vigorously promoted scientific and technological innovation in the field of green  environmental-friendly coatings, fully accelerated the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productive forces, and further enhanced enterprises' core competitiveness.

     

    At the meeting site, renowned domestic experts, scholars, and engineering technicians delivered wonderful special reports. They provided in-depth interpretations of the cutting-edge issues in the current development of the green environmental-friendly coatings industry and the new trends of AI empowering the coatings industry. This meeting was committed to vigorously promoting environmentally friendly industrial coatings and their corresponding coating technologies, actively advancing the green revolution of solvent-based coatings. It not only built a high-quality platform for member units to share technologies and achieve win-win cooperation but also pointed out the direction for the entire industry to jointly explore the transformation and upgrading paths of SMEs and enhance the industry's core competitiveness.

    In addition to the main meeting, ERICW also participated in a series of important activities, including the Coatings Association Think Tank Expert Symposium, Outbound Conference, and Digital Collaborative Development Innovation Conference. At the Think Tank Expert Symposium, enterprise representatives had in-depth exchanges with the industry's think tank to offer suggestions for industry development strategies; at the Outbound Conference, they jointly explored effective strategies for coatings enterprises to expand into international markets, helping the industry step onto the global stage; the Digital Collaborative Development Innovation Conference focused on the industry's digital transformation, exploring new paths to leverage digital technologies to enhance the overall development level of the industry.
